And things could’ve been so different

I know this is not a great poem (and this is not an attemopt at modesty, I really think it sux). But from my heart…

One different word,
Or one word said differently;
A word too many,
A word too less,
Nothing but a word,
A word that would’ve made all the difference.

Sometimes it bothers me,
How a minute can prevent the worst accident,
How someone else’s spontaneous act
Can save your life.
How the thief could’ve done you a big favor
By choosing anyone else’s money to steal, but chose yours.

A year…

I was actually asking PD to give me ideas on what to write a blog post, and after a few BAD ideas, she finally came up with sth I had to write about, sooner or later. (When PD starts comming up with bad ideas, she can come up with a million bad ideas without end.) We have only a year to remain at school, which means only a year before go our separate ways to college. (more…)

Life is fine

I remember loving a poem from the bottom of my being. Here it is:

Life is Fine  
by Langston Hughes 

 I went down to the river,
I set down on the bank.
I tried to think but couldn’t,
So I jumped in and sank.

I came up once and hollered!
I came up twice and cried!
If that water hadn’t a-been so cold
I might’ve sunk and died.
